....everywhere in Rio De Janeiro. Literally the warmest atmosphere I've ever encountered in a city, smiles everywhere (London we have a lot to learn here), enough to break even the bluest mood and during Carnival, everyone kisses each other in the street. Total bliss, I cannot wait to return.
I was lucky enough to be makeup artist for one of the schools of the Grande Rio, Pimpolhos, which involved makeup and bodypainting for the whole of the school's front line, so the first 15 children. Huge thanks to my wonderful team, 8 of us were all hands on deck to create a beautiful array of colourful looks to match the Kadinsky inspired costumes. Such a pleasure to be a part of something so special, Rio is the heart of carnival and the city spends the whole year preparing for this time, it's really amazing to see the incredible hard work and effort that goes into this wonderful creation. Consider my diary booked out every February for Rio Carnival!

Time flies
Wowee, how on Earth has it been over a year since I updated all my wild styles and makeup games news?!
So much amazingness has happened, my feet have barely had chance to hit the floor. What better way to re-introduce my tales of makeup games and inspirations than with the newest fashion film from Velvet Johnstone, the incredibly stunning brainchild of womenswear designer Cheryl Stephenson.
Shot and edited by Jamie Noel, makeup by yours truly, hair by Olivier @ Electric Blue Gallery, stills by Caroline Michael and Luke Glover

Cee-high!
An outstanding Brits finale from Cee-lo Green & Paloma Faith last night! My first time working at the Brits and I was lucky enough to make up the dancers for the performance, alongside make-up artists Debbie Bates, Thom Walker, Lucy Thompson, hair by Leon Synan and super hot styling from Hayley Nunn. It's incredible to be part of such a production, a constant 10 hour buzz to create a 5-minute show and an amazing one at that!
Check out these hotties....
